What exactly does one SALIA sachet contain?
One SALIA sachet contains 18 ml of concentrated liquid, made up of approximately 80% pure food-grade Sardinian seawater, which naturally provides 100% of the electrolytes declared on the label.
The remaining portion contains certified organic Sicilian lemon juice concentrate, Vitamin C, natural flavours, and a very small amount of sodium benzoate, used to help keep the product stable and suitable for storage at room temperature.
Is drinking seawater safe?
The seawater used in SALIA is collected from the crystal-clear waters off the coast of Sardinia, Italy, and then processed specifically for food use. It is transferred to a certified food-production facility, where it undergoes multiple stages of microfiltration, purification, disinfection and UV treatment through specialised processing systems until it is suitable for human consumption. The facility operates according to internationally recognised food-quality and safety standards.
Natural seawater is exceptionally rich in minerals and electrolytes. However, because of its high salt concentration, it is hypertonic and not intended to be consumed undiluted in significant quantities.
SALIA takes a measured amount of this purified Sardinian seawater, combines it with a small number of carefully selected ingredients, and allows you to dilute it in fresh water to create a refreshing, pleasant-tasting electrolyte drink.
When can I drink SALIA?
SALIA is designed for everyday hydration — in the morning, during exercise, at work, at the beach, in hot weather or after heavy sweating, and whenever you want to replenish electrolytes. It is made for people who understand the importance of staying hydrated and want naturally occurring marine electrolytes rather than using products that contain artificially added electrolytes.
How should I drink SALIA?
Pour one SALIA sachet into a glass of cold water for a stronger, more intense flavour, or dilute it in 300–500 ml of water for a lighter, smoother drink that you can take with you to the gym, work or on the go.
For particularly intense workouts or periods of heavy sweating, you can also use two sachets in a larger bottle of water for a more concentrated electrolyte drink. Adjust the amount of water to your preferred taste, mix well and enjoy chilled.
INNOVATIVE ONE-HAND OPENING SACHET
SALIA features an innovative one-handed opening system designed to make every sachet quick and effortless to use.
Simply fold the sachet in half along the dotted line on the back. As it folds, the liquid is released automatically through the dispensing opening positioned at the centre of the sachet. Then squeeze the sachet to dispense the entire contents directly into your water.
Mix one sachet with approximately 500 ml of water — or more, depending on your taste — for a refreshing Mediterranean drink.
